Established in 1897, the Pittsburgh Musicians' Union is the largest organization of professional musicians in the tri-state area.  We are a part of the American Federation of Musicians, which in turn is a member of the AFL-CIO.  Our membership includes the musicians of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, The Pittsburgh Opera and Ballet orchestras, the Civic Light Opera Orchestra, The River City Brass Band, and many other ensembles of all sizes throughout our region.  We have hundreds of active free-lance musicians available to play for weddings, parties, and other engagements.  Our referral service is free.  Please call us, and we will be happy to assist in finding the right musicians for you.
